Cheriton Table Tennis Club is housed in the new Clubhouse next to Cheriton Tennis Courts. There is 1 table tennis table (with playback facilities), club bats and balls available, and kitchen facilities. All tennis club members and table tennis club members can play and use the clubhouse facilities at any time.
Tuesday Table Tennis Evenings 2008: from 7.30-8.30pm most Tuesday evenings Martin & Sandy from Cheriton Post Office are up at the club for a social table tennis evening. Please call in to Cheriton Post Office during the day to check details with Martin or Sandy. All members and non-members are very welcome - the more the merrier for a sociable session. Juniors also welcome.
2007 coach at Cheriton - Ken MacLeod: Ken MacLeod is an ETTA Se
nior Coach and Coach Educator a role he also fulfils for the ITTF on occasion. Ken has coached for over twenty years at clubs and at International Level. He is currently the head coach at Waterside Club in Southampton. Ken also coaches British number 3 Gavin Rumgay on the ITTF ProTour. The majority of Ken’s time is currently spent working with clubs and schools in Hampshire. If enough members or non-members are interested, we can ask Ken if he could come back to Cheriton in 2008 to run a series of sessions for us at the club.
